What the eggsperts have to say

The Problem
Backyard Coop Goop

Backyard Coop Goop

Regardless of how clean you keep your coop, chickens and ducks only have one exit hole. That means the good, the bad and the ugly all come out of the same spot. In fact, about 1 in 5 backyard eggs test positive for salmonella while 1 in 20 test positive for e-coli. Soap isn't the solution, it contains chemicals that seep through porous eggshells and can carry in contaminants that ruin breakfast.

GoodEgg Wash uses the power of all-natural, plant-based enzymes to safely breakdown bacterial contaminants on the outside of the egg without penetrating the eggshell. These food-grade formulas are free from dyes, fragrances, and harsh chemicals. Heavy Doody wash uses natural abrasives to effectively scrub off even the nastiest, glued on coop crud. Breakfast just got a whole lot easier.

Our Story

  • Meet Amy & Bryce

They love their backyard eggs, but hated cleaning them! More so, they couldn't believe a purpose built egg brush didn't exist. So they invented their own.

  • Cancer Came Calling

More than a year later after designing and prototyping, the GoodEgg Brush was finally ready to launch. Plot twist: Amy was diagnosed with Stage IV breast cancer while pregnant, so GoodEgg took a backseat.

  • GoodEgg Gives 10%

Thankfully, Amy and Bryce now have a healthy baby girl and Amy is not just surviving but thriving, just recently showing clear scans. Because of this journey, we donate 10% of profits to individuals and families affected by cancer.
