How Heavy Doody Egg Wash Works
-
Natural abrasives for the win.
Walnut shells, poppy seeds and volcanic pumice are the super scrubbers that put the heavy in heavy doody. They easily remove stains, glued on yolk, and any other backyard coop goop.
-
Double enzyme power.
Heavy Doody uses the power of not one, but two naturally-derived plant-based enzymes to breakdown all the bio-contaminants found on the outside of your backyard butt nuggets (AKA eggs).
-
Food-grade and safe to eat.
GoodEgg Wash Heavy Doody has been independently verified to not penetrate the eggshell. The good stuff stays inside, and the bad stuff on the outside goes bye-bye.
What the eggsperts have to say
Eggshells washed with Heavy Doody had 763 times fewer aerobic bacteria than unwashed eggs.
“As a chicken keeper myself, I’m always excited to see innovative new products hit the market. But Heavy Doody truly knocked my socks off—the first product in nearly a decade to do so! What impresses me most is that the team at GoodEgg doesn’t just come up with creative ideas; they back them up with scientific testing."

They Just Did It Again!
I’ve been wanting a product like this forever and I’m so happy to report it works even better than I thought it would. The varying sizes of an abrasives work really well to remove crud and I love that it’s all natural.

THE egg wash every chicken owner needs!
I absolutely LOVE this Heavy Doody wash for the extra messy eggs in the coop! The original wash is wonderful for nearly clean eggs, but the added abrasives really make cleaning dirty eggs a breeze! A little bit goes a long ways, so I expect to get a lot of eggs cleaned with one bottle!
Bre R. - Fromafarmhouse
This stuff is amazing!
I love their original egg wash but this gritty wash is even better. Especially for super messy duck eggs or when we have summer rains that leave everything muddy even the chicken eggs. I’ll be keeping this on hand and ready for even the messiest eggs.

Meet Amy & Bryce
They love their backyard eggs, but hated cleaning them! More so, they couldn't believe a purpose built egg brush didn't exist. So they invented their own.
-
Cancer Came Calling
More than a year later after designing and prototyping, the GoodEgg Brush was finally ready to launch. Plot twist: Amy was diagnosed with Stage IV breast cancer while pregnant, so GoodEgg took a backseat.
